squashfs-tools provides tools for creating and appending to (mksquashfs) and extracting (unsquashfs) squashfs filesystems.
Squashfs is a compressed read-only filesystem. It is intended for general read-only filesystem use, archival use (i.e. in cases where a .tar.gz file may be used, and in constrained block device/memory systems (e.g. embedded systems) where low overhead is needed.

pkgman install squashfs_tools
Attenzione: il file arriva dal server di HaikuPorts, ma installarlo a mano non è la strada consigliata. È «pkgman» a risolvere le dipendenze che un .hpkg non porta con sé: un pacchetto installato da solo potrebbe non partire. Usa il comando pkgman qui sopra, a meno che tu non sappia esattamente perché ti serve il file.
