Description
Advanced lightweight configurable editor eFTE is an advanced programmers editor with goals of being lightweight, yet totally configurable.
Support for user defined programming languages, menu systems and key bindings are provided with many common defaults already defined.
eFTE is still a new project, however, extended from the FTE editor which was first released in 1995, so eFTE is tried and true with many features for the programmer/text editor.

This app is curated in HaikuPorts. Install it from there, it is already available in HaikuDepot.
pkgman install efte
Careful: the file comes from HaikuPorts' own server, but installing it by hand is not the way in. It is pkgman that resolves the dependencies an .hpkg does not carry with it, and a package installed on its own may simply not run. Use the pkgman command above, unless you know exactly why you want the file.
