Pippo is a native MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Haiku OS that exposes the operating system's unique capabilities as invocable tools for LLM clients via HTTP+SSE on localhost:2607. It enables LLM clients to control Haiku applications, manipulate BeFS extended attributes, run filesystem queries, inject input events, capture the screen, read and write files, execute shell commands, and manage the clipboard—all through Haiku's native APIs. Pippo turns any MCP-compatible LLM into a complete computer-use agent and coding assistant on Haiku.
